Please read our Privacy Policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, disclose, protect and otherwise handle information about you. By using DMAFB’sservices, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy describes:

DMAFB has not appointed a data protection officer according to article 37 GDPR.

Categories of Data Obtained Directly from You

We collect information you provide to us, such as when you create an account, update your profile, use the interactive features of our Services,or any DMAFB email newsletter, purchase any of our premium services, make a donation to DMAFB,participate in contests, promotions or surveys, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include:

  • Basic user information, such as your name, username, gender, birth date, email address, mailing address, billing address,phone number and photographs;
  • Messages and interactive forum information, such as discussion group posts, messages to other DMAFB users and information you provide in connection with activities and events;
  • Other background, contact and demographic information, such as your occupation, personal URL, IM username, emergency contact, home descriptions, activityhistory and plans and other interests and self-descriptions you choose to provide;
  • Payment card information;
  • Information stored on your mobile device, such as your photos, calendar information and contacts, if you have given us permission to access this information; and
  • Information about you from other DMAFBusers, such as trust ratings,reviews,friend connections, public references, and other interconnections and interactions between you and other DMAFB users.
  • Information provided to us by you as a part of the identity verification process. This includes the identity document and images used in the process, as well as the information included on the identity document provided.

Information Obtained Automatically Through Technology

Depending on which Services you use and how you access them, the information collected automatically through technology, such as access logs, cookies, pixels and other tracking technologies, may include:

  • Internet Protocol Address (IP address).
  • The domain name ofyour Internet Service Provider
  • The website, application, platform or service you visited before and after visiting our Services.
  • Information about your computer or mobile device, and their browser, operating system, settings and software.
  • Unique device identifiers on your mobile device
  • Your approximate geographic location (derived from requested header information, such as your IP address) and/or more precise location information if you have given DMAFB consent to receive this information for a DMAFB application on your mobile device.
  • The dates, times, duration and frequency of your interactions with our Services, search terms, the media files you download, interact with or share, favourites you select, and your navigation path through our Services.
  • Information about your interactions with our email messages. Any errors you encountered during your use of the Services.
  • If you sign in to the Services from a social networking service ("SNS"), we receive your email address and certain profile information from such SNS in accordance with its privacy policy and your SNS account privacy settings.

Information Not Obtained Directly From You

Purposes for Processing of Personal Data

DMAFB processes your data in order to:

  • Protect the safety of DMAFB users and provide our verification service;

Lawful Basis for the Processing of Personal Data

DMAFB is required to demonstrate a lawful basis for the processing of personal data. DMAFB relies on legitimate interest to process data for the following purposes:

  • Operating, modifying and improving the Services.
  • Identifying usage trends
  • Customising content and user experience.
  • Web hosting

Consent: We process personal data based on your consent to facilitate networking opportunities on the DMAFB site, send personalised messages from DMAFBand DMAFB's partners(interest based messages or sponsorship), to collect precise location information and to send promotional emails. Please note that all processing of your personal data will cease once you have withdrawn consent but this will not affect any personal data that has already been processed.

DMAFB employs physical, technical and organisational safe guards to ensure an appropriate level of security for personal data, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and security for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

Age Limits

You must be at least 18 years of age to submit any User Materials or personal data on or through the Services, create a public profile, or participate in any online contests. If your child is under age 16 and has provided personal data to the Services, please contact us at for deletion of the data.


Payments on the DMAFB website are not handled by DMAFB but by a commissioned third party (Stripe Inc.). Payments can be made by credit card by entering the user's credit card details on the website or by any other payment method offered by Stripe Inc.

Payment by credit card is handled bya third-party company (Stripe Inc., 510 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA). The user expressly agrees that DMAFB cannot assume any liability for third parties. Payment is subject to the general terms and conditions of the respective third-party company.

DMAFB does not collect and/or store any payment data such as credit card or bank account information or any other financial data other than the payment amounts and date of the transaction itself.

Newsletter and personalised advertisement

If agreed upon by the user, DMAFB may send newsletters or other commercial communications regarding its services to the user. Based on the information provided, DMAFB may personalise the information provided to the user that the user only receives information that DMAFB deems interesting and relevant to the user. For this purpose, DMAFB analyses the data including but not limited to information about age, gender, interests and preferences as well as other information collected and data that can be derived from linking various data of the user and otherwise.

DMAFB may send newsletters or other commercial communications in connection with its services to users. In accordance with the applicable law, DMAFB reserves the right to do so without the prior consent of existing users.

The user may at any time unsubscribe from any newsletters or other commercial communications on the website or via the link provided in each mailing. The termination of one newsletter may not entail the termination of other newsletters.

Personalised advertising may also be placed during the visit of the website. Each such personalised advertisement displayed is generated by DMAFB using cookies and other analytic tools (see “Internet Cookies”above).
